Christian leadership is not proven by how long we hold power, but by how faithfully we steward it. Scripture honors age, wisdom, and experience, yet also calls leaders to prepare others, release control, and finish well. In Christ, stepping aside is not disappearance. Our worth does not come from a title, a platform, or being indispensable.

There is a persistent assumption in the life of faith that the most important things happen all at once. What Scripture resists, consistently and with intention, is the idea that the sudden is where the real work happens. The real work is quiet.
