Women are not secondary members of Christ’s church. Scripture presents them as image-bearers, disciples, teachers, witnesses, leaders, and coworkers in the gospel. This article explores how churches can honor the gifts God has given women while faithfully considering the New Testament’s teaching on eldership, authority, and pastoral responsibility.

The one who sees what is wrong with the house of God can become the very thing he is fighting. He seldom recognizes it because he wears the robes of discernment, quotes scripture fluently, and feels, inside, exactly like faithfulness... an airtight case against the shepherds placed before an assembly without a single soul weighing it, or corrected only in a courtroom of his own, with a prosecutor, jury, judge, and verdict signed long ago.

The four hundred prophets who agreed with him were not his protection. They were the evidence of his danger.

The foot never left. It showed up every week, served faithfully, and watched the hand move with authority. It just never quite got over the low, persistent ache it had no good word for—because it had been told, gently and sincerely, that this was God's design.
